Mind & Body Pain Care (M&BPC) is a gentle, whole-person approach that helps you manage chronic pain by addressing both the body and the mind.
Pain is not just physical—it’s influenced by how we think, feel, move, and live each day.
This site is here to help you:
• Understand your pain
• Take control of your health journey
• Learn simple, proven tools for healing and resilience
Whether you're someone living with pain, a loved one, or a healthcare provider, these resources are designed to support you.
Chronic pain can be affected by:
• How your nerves and brain respond
• Your emotions and stress
• How you move each day
• Your surroundings and history
True healing often requires treating both the body and the mind—together.
This Mind & Body Pain Course will guide you through easy-to-follow videos and handouts that explain:
• How the brain and nerves create pain
• Why pain can last after an injury heals
• How fear, stress, or past experiences can increase pain
• Ways to feel more confident and in control
Mindfulness practices can help you:
• Calm your nervous system
• Feel less stressed or anxious
• Become more emotionally steady
• Feel more grounded in your daily life
Even a few minutes a day can make a difference.
Movement is healing—whether it's walking, stretching, or gentle exercise. You’ll learn how to:
• Build strength and flexibility again
• Move without fear or setbacks
• Enjoy activity without pain taking over
You don’t need to be athletic. Just start where you are.
